ABOUT THE GALLERY
The New York Gallery of Chinese Art is committed to build a platform in New York that supports and showcases Chinese traditional and contemporary visual arts to the greater New York communities and international tourists. It will serve as a comprehensive and profound window-in-sync for deepened learning and understanding about Eastern aesthetics and Chinese art & culture. The New York Gallery of Chinese Art regularly organizes academic discourses, lectures and Chinese art workshops to contribute more diversified cultural education programs to the local art community and the general public.
Founded and owned by entrepreneur, investor and calligrapher Mr. Ip-Wing Kong on November 10th 2017, the New York Gallery of Chinese Art is located at the corner of Allen Street and Broome Street, next to SOHO and Chinatown, within the preserved historical cultural zone - Lower East Side (LES). The New York Gallery of Chinese Art is the biggest private gallery that focuses solely on presenting Chinese art and culture in Manhattan. It has two floors and more than 4000 square feet space, 12 feet high and a total length of 500 feet for hanging exhibits.
